Altoris Behavior Support Services are based on the principles of Positive Behavior Support. Our Behavior Consultants develop person-centered behavior plans that focus on empowerment of the individual through self-directed care, with changes in the client s environment as necessary to effect meaningful change. Caregivers and staff are directly involved in the effort, giving input and receiving coaching and training on the plan. Our consultants must go through an onsite training and pass a competency exam to be able to provide services to Medicaid eligible clients. If you are already on the state registry (passed your competency elsewhere), we will pay you a $500 hiring bonus after your first 90 days on the job. If you are not on the registry, we will arrange to have you trained. Successful consultants have typically had previous experience in a related industry.
